PET is a semicrystalline thermoplastic polymer that offers unique characteristics, making it preferred for precision applications, including high-speed and rapid cycling. The excellent mechanical impact and abrasion resistance make it suitable for applications that require a certain strength. It has a remarkable temperature resistance range and the finished part maintains excellent stability. The low moisture content, food compatibility and ease of machinability make it suitable for applications in the food, textile and precision mechanical industries.
